CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Kinderdanze: This is designed as an introduction for young children to the joys of dance. This program is a prelude to formal ballet instruction and stresses creativity and group interaction. (45 mins)

Ballet: Ballet is a refined, disciplined movement, which is the basis of all dance. It is a difficult study but cannot be praised too highly. Benefits of applied ballet are numerous and long retained. (45 - 90 mins)

Pointe: Pointe is ballet on pointe for advanced ballet students. Pointe can be harmful if taken before the student is mature enough or far enough advanced. Pointe students usually are at least ten years of age. (45 - 60 mins)

Jazz: Jazz is America's own interpretation of dance, which evolved from ballet and has tremendous appeal. (45 - 60 mins)

Tap: Tap is an American born, stylized dance, which is an excellent means of developing rhythm and coordination. (45 - 60 mins)
