Erica is a native of Springfield, Illinois, where she began dancing at the age of 3. She joined the Springfield Ballet Company in 1999. In 2005, she moved to Greenville, SC to dance with Carolina Ballet Theatre. She traveled to South America to perform in various cities in Uruguay. She has been cast in leading/soloist roles in classical ballets for both her hometown company and CBT, including The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, La Sylphide, La Bayadere and Corsaire. Dancing as Juliet is always a special role, since Romeo and Juliet is her favorite ballet. Erica has performed lead roles in a number of contemporary works by CBT's Hernan Justo and resident choreographer Francesca Genovese. She has also had the opportunity to work with world-renowned choreographer Alonzo King. She has been a guest with Springfield Ballet Company, Piedmont Dance Theatre and Charlotte Youth Ballet. She has been a part the Metropolitan Art Council's Smart Arts program for 7 years. Erica is in her ninth season with CBT.
