Martin Justo was born in Caracas Venezuela. He began his ballet training at the age of 11 at the School of Carolina Ballet Theatre in Greenville, South Carolina with his father Hernan Justo, Artistic Director of Carolina Ballet Theatre (CBT). He also received training for his mother Mercedes Bernardez at Quinte Ballet School in Belleville, Ontario Canada. Martin is currently a company member at CBT where he performed main roles such as The Nutcracker, Espada in Don Quixote, Pas de trios of Le Corsaire, Raymonda Pas de dix, Albrecht from the ballet Giselle, among others. He also has done contemporary works by Alonso King, Lynn Taylor-Corbett, Andrew Kuharsky, Anita Pacylowski, and Hernan Justo. Martin has traveled with CBT in regional, national and international tours. in January 2011 Martin traveled to Fujinomiya, Japan as guest artist to perform the Peaseant Pas from Giselle. Martin is a permanet guest artist at Springfield Ballet Company in Illinois, Ballet Spartanburg in South Carolina and Charlotte Youth Ballet in North Carolina.
